This form will be used to request cancellation of your Housing Contract while staying enrolled at Fort Lewis College. If approved, you must check out of your residence hall within 48 hours from the approval date.

For cancellations received BEFORE moving into your housing assignment:

A $100 fee applies for cancellations received after the following dates:

Fall term: July 31
Spring term: December 1
Summer term: No fee

Cancellation Reasons:

If you decide to move off-campus after taking occupancy while still enrolled as a full-time student, you may incur an $850 contract termination fee. First-year students must live on-campus for their first academic year and are ineligible to break their contract after taking occupancy in their residence hall.
